# HeyReach

Find your HeyReach API key and send it to us. About 2 minutes.

## Before you start

- Log in details for your HeyReach account.
- [OneTimeSecret](https://eu.onetimesecret.com) open in another tab. You will use it to send the key. [How it works](https://guide.upliftedconsulting.com/start-here/sending-securely.md).

## Get your API key

### Step 1: Log in to HeyReach

Go to [app.heyreach.io](https://app.heyreach.io) and log in.

### Step 2: Open Integrations

Click **Integrations** in the menu.

### Step 3: Open the API key window

Click **Get API key**.

### Step 4: Create a key if needed

If you have never made a key, click **New API key**. If you already have one, you can use it.

### Step 5: Copy the key

Click the copy icon (it looks like two small pages) next to the key.

> **Careful:**
> Copy the whole key. It is a long string of letters and numbers.

## Send it to us

- [Send it with OneTimeSecret](https://guide.upliftedconsulting.com/start-here/sending-securely.md): Paste the key into OneTimeSecret, create the link, and send us **only the link**. Label it "HeyReach API key".

## Something not right?

### I don't see Integrations or Get API key

You are probably logged in as a team member without admin rights. Ask the account owner to do these steps, or to give you admin access.

### My plan does not seem to include the API

The API is part of the Growth, Agency, and Unlimited plans. Custom and startup plans can differ. Ask HeyReach support to confirm, then tell us.

### Will a new key break anything?

If another tool already uses your existing key, copy that key instead of making a new one. That way nothing that works today is affected.
