Before you start
- Log in details for your Bouncer account.
- OneTimeSecret open in another tab. You will use it to send the key. How it works.
Get your API key
Log in to Bouncer
Go to app.usebouncer.com/login and log in.
Open API
Click API in the left-side menu.
Generate a key if needed
If you have no key yet, click Generate API Key.
Copy the key
Click copy next to the key.
Careful
Copy the whole key. It is a long string of letters and numbers.
Send it to us
Send it with OneTimeSecret
Paste the key into OneTimeSecret, create the link, and send us only the link. Label it "Bouncer API key".
Something not right?
I don't see API in the menu
You may be logged in as a team member, not the owner. Ask the account owner to do these steps.
Will the key use up my credits?
Yes. Every email we verify with the key uses credits from your account, just like uploading a list. Tell us if you want us to stay under a limit.
Will a new key break anything?
If another tool already uses your existing key, copy that key instead of making a new one. A new key could replace the old one, and tools using the old key would stop working.
